S. C. Pedersen is a Danish author and trained pianist, who graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Music as a soloist, and now teaches at the Musicology Institute at the University of Copenhagen. Pedersen, who is married with four children, has authored fourteen historical novels: six Viking novels, two medieval novels, a knight-trilogy and a Jesus-trilogy.
