About the Book

Ezekiel Dillon McKnight under Justice Black's leadership covertly fights domestic terrorism. While on a recent assignment to rescue a team member he is also captured and tortured. He never talks about it especially the sexual assault done by the women soldiers. Dillon is placed on leave until the agency's psychiatrist clears him for return to duty, he misses two appointments. Because of Dillon's deeply rooted anger and bitterness as a forced challenge his grandparents turns over troubling Dillon Commons, a semi-retirement complex that is having a rash of burglaries and Shawnessey Center to him. They make one stipulation, one of the resident employees Zacchaeus cannot be discharged by Dillon. A young female, Vera is found dead in a ravine strangled to death with Dillon's card in the lining of her coat pocket. Dillon tells the local sheriff he does not know Vera. A few weeks' later three more young women bodies are found in the same ravine, their bodies mutilated and tortured. Only the young Caucasian redhead gets media attention, the other two African Americans are mentioned once. The African American girls were ordered by Welch Nalon, an international business man with a strong violent fetish for dark-skinned African American women. Sydney Albright, to avoid two lawsuits against her family business, has to volunteer at Shawnessy Center and is brutally attacked while temporarily living in one of the cottages. Now the word is out Dillon Commons is unsafe. The sheriff doubts Dillon's innocence in Vera's death until Jeanette Kimbrell one of the prominent residents leaves a suicide letter to Dillon implying they had an intimate relationship. Inside the letter Jeanette leaves a code for Dillon that impacts his life and Dillon Commons. While investigating his Shea Butter factory fire in Africa, Dillon finds a new foreman on the property and barely miss being hit with a poison dart. In a twist of fate, Justice Black and Dillon's grandparents reveals information that will forever change his life.
