About the Book

Armageddon: The Battle of Armageddon has been portrayed as the war that ends all wars. It has been depicted by many as the final end time war which will be fought between the forces of good and evil. It has also been described by many as the world wide battle that will end all battles. Songs have been written about the Battle of Armageddon. Movies have been made about it. Books have been written about it. The Battle of Armageddon has been described as the most horrific devastating end time battle of all time. Many a sermon has been preached about it from many a pulpit. One preacher wrote the following about the Battle of Armageddon: "The Battle of Armageddon will take place over in the Nation of Israel, in the prophesied Valley of Megiddo. It will occur after the Great Tribulation Period". "There are several Scriptural passages which refer to the same event, but do not use the term; "Armageddon," including the Supper of the Great God (Revelation 19:17), the Valley of Jehoshaphat (Joel 3:2), the Valley of Decision (Joel 3: 13-14), and the Battle of that Great Day of God Almighty (Revelation 16:14).Revelation Chapters 14, 16, 17 and 19 describes Armageddon as a place of great slaughter where troops will be gathered, assembled and pressed together. Nations will be punished for their sins. Those who have received the Mark of the Beast will be judged. The final seven years will begin when the Antichrist and the International Community give their support to the Nation of Israel's right to exist in the land promised to Abraham by Ehyeh. A war will begin from the vicinity of the Euphrates River. The West Bank, (Judea) will become a place of great tribulation." As you can imagine, this Battle of Armageddon has been described as a very horrendous battle that will happen at the end of time. Here is a question that we need to ask: What if all of this talk about "Armageddon" is nothing more than a lot of hype and scare tactics and propaganda? What if all of these people actually have the Battle of Armageddon thoroughly and completely wrong? In the following pages, you and I will go on an investigative scavenger hunt in order to unveil what the Battle of Armageddon is really all about. We will discover when it is supposed to start. And we will also learn where it will actually occur
About the Author: My mother sent me to Catholic Catechism when I was six and I asked the priest why we were supposed to pray to Mary. He told me, "That is what we do." I have never liked pacifying answers. I never went back. I got into a fight when I was seven years old because another boy said that my mom was a liar for telling me that there was a Santa Clause and an Easter Bunny. I lost that fight in two ways that day. When I got home my mom told me The Truth. Later on, I went to quite a few different religious assemblies seeking to learn The Truth, but I always felt that I was not hearing the whole truth. I went to metal machine shop class and I learned to work with very close tolerances with-in, plus or minus of a thousandth of an inch. Then when I was in the Navy, I was on the Aircraft Carrier, USS Nimitz for a couple of years. I went to Captain's Mast four separate times for several minor infractions and in the end, Captain Ilg and I had a private conversation in his office. He told me that of all the men on his ship, he knew that I alone would be willing to tell him The Truth, even if it was not what he wanted to hear. He told me that he recognized that characteristic in me the very first time that he met me. He said that practically everyone else had been taught not to question things that they had been taught. He said that it was they who were being led as sheep to the slaughter. The last thing that Captain Ilg told me as I was getting ready to leave his office was for me to never allow others to make me feel or think that I was wrong, because, he said, I was "probably" the only one in the right. If Captain Ilg had not explained all of this to me about myself, I probably would never have understood that I do not perceive most things the same way that others do. After I got out of the Navy I worked in construction, where I learned that everything has to be 'absolutely plumb, square and level'. With that frame of mind and background I always had a problem with all of these religious assemblies teaching that, "You can come just as you are and you do not have to change." When I learned that Scripture tells us that the whole world, (except for the elect) would be deceived, and that the entry gate is very narrow, I began searching for that narrow gate. I knew that I was not hearing The Truth from the preachers. So I started reading the Scriptures for myself, and I began to see anomalies that have led me to some of the conclusions which I will show you. Boyd B. McNiel
