I get extremely passionate when I see Christians walking in partial freedom. I get so angry that I have to do something about it. I mean, is partial freedom really freedom at all? "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free."
There are specific doctrines and beliefs in Christianity that keep people bound to religious systems and practices that never produce the fruit we long to experience in Christ. It's time to tear down and expose the lies that have infiltrated our faith and kept us from the fullness of life available through the resurrection.
My only motive in this study is to help you read the Bible with the light of the Holy Spirit shining brightly. Only then, can we live the life Christ intends for us to live with Him at the center. This is not a life of rules or regulations but a divine dance of relationship, adventure and dangerous prayers.
Session One: Beloved: Sinner or Saint?
When God looks at you through the finished work of Jesus, does He see a beloved sinner or a beloved saint? Can we be both? Why do I have to choose one? We will use scripture to answer these questions and more that come up in this session.
Session Two: The Body of: Death or Life?
Do you still have the nature to sin or is your new nature divine and prone to holy behavior? How you answer will affect the way you follow Jesus and commune with the Body. Could the sin nature be an illusion that is overcome with a fresh perspective?
Session Three: Sacred Cow Tipping
As a Christian under the New Covenant, are there still practices and commands that you are required to uphold? What about the 10 commandments? How do we live holy lives in submission to our God of grace? Freedom is better than you could have imagined.
Session Four: The New Wine
Jesus gave us a new commandment for a new covenant with His love at the center. How is the new commandment different from the old? Why is the new commandment a higher standard and how can we ever be successful at it? Get ready to overflow.
Session Five: From Orphan to Heir
So often we come to King Jesus, we sit at His table in our designated place, but we never truly let go of the orphan imposter ingrained in our thinking. What does it mean to be a joint heir with Christ? What unique mission does Jesus want us to co-labor with Him in?
Session Six: The Family Name
You are now a beloved son or daughter of the Most High God. Not only that but you also help Him run the family business under the family name. But what is His name and how do you now have divine access to His authority, His wealth and His Kingdom?
