About the Book

Arising Inspiration is a lovely little book filled with poetic thoughts about life and purpose revealed through inspirational, funny, and mysterious stories and descriptions that will make your heart beat faster. Feel the rhythm and rhyme of the fascinating and uniquely written story of the angel of death as he walks through dark city streets while looking for a poor homeless women in the middle of a cold winter's night... Discover the reality of what your guardian angel actually does in the middle of the night as he invites his friends over to have a good time -while you are sleeping... Follow the smallest of them all, as she walks to the market in Jerusalem from her home in the countryside; and, what happens when she sees Jesus teaching the children... Or find out how forty monks at a monastery react when Jesus comes to visit for a day... All this and more is waiting for you to enjoy in this lovely little book! Following are titles of the poems written by T. Marie Parks which are contained in this book:

  1. This Day
  2. Heaven Sent
  3. Heartbeat
  4. The Angels Revelry
  5. The Smallest of Them All
  6. The White Monk
  7. Mystical Ocean

Note from the author: Although these poems contain brief descriptions in order to give you a small glimpse of the meaning and symbolism behind each poem, please feel free to use your own imagination and allow the poetry to speak to you with your own interpretations.

About the Author: Therese Marie Parks grew up in the small town of St. Mary's Kansas in a large family of fourteen, surrounded by a thriving Christian community, and attended the local private Catholic school, St. Mary's Academy. Her exposure to and fascination with poetry began in fourth grade when the teacher taught the class a new poem: How Doth the Little Busy Bee, by Isaac Watts. Throughout her years at the Academy, Therese was required to memorize, write, and study poetry and by the time she graduated from high school in 2009, Therese had already written eighty poems in her free time. Therese currently takes a lot of interest in her career path working with computers and programming, but poetry has always been her passion. In fact, she believes that programming is a lot like writing poetry.
