About the Author: Not too far from a cove beach where Cleopatra enchanted Anthony, the Mediterranean shore city of Antalya boasts a little historic valley town called Elmali. Being a clever tekin on the rise, envious Alexander is reputed to have said, 'If I had not been Alexander, I would have preferred to be Diogenes!' To which Diogenes is said to have retorted: 'If I weren't myself, I too would have preferred to be Diogenes!' Now living in Istanbul - a continuous human settlement dating back nine thousand years - how could he possibly be expected to resist the urge of writing inspired by colorful and rich history surrounding him.
