E' Presidente della "Associazione Culturale Anubi", la quale si propone la divulgazione e la conoscenza di antiche culture, (con particolare attenzione al mondo giovanile), attraverso conferenze e dibattiti presso Scuole ed Istituti, visite guidate a Mostre e Musei e Laboratori Didattici. Nell'ambito di progetti di incontri e scambi culturali sul territorio, Maria Pace è spesso invitata come esperta da altre Associazioni o per apparizioni televisive. E' autrice di numerosi testi di narrativa storica e ambientale corredati di schede per la ricerca e l'approfondimento, utili ad un'attività didattica interattiva con altre materie.
