About the Book

The wise in spirit defies the limits of time/For he will be in covenant with the divine/The young in age who is faithful and true/Will be worthy to wear wisdom's cloak/He'll live in a place beyond man's flesh/And walk in the greater light of God/Where man's feet can never stumble/For space and time matter little there Launch a journey deep into the heart of spiritual transformation in Kalu Onwuka's inspirational new poetry collection, Anthems in the Glorious Dawn. The first of four volumes in the "In Faithfulness to the Divine" series lays bare a compilation of remarkably balanced poems that expertly blend both spiritual and earthly inspiration. Onwuka believes that life is a stage upon which all who perform well will be exalted by the Creator who is watching constantly from above. These people will then be able to live as examples, as points of reference for those who also seek a higher path. To help audiences through the ninety-three poems in this collection, groups of verse are divided into distinct sections such as "Excellence is Found in Freedom," "Love Whispers to the Heart," "Wisdom Judges not by Looks," and "Strong Faith Exalts in Life." All of them share the specific goal, however of rekindling reader's relationships with God. Man's quest to reconnect with the divine is an eternal one, and Onwuka's lyrical poems frame experiences in a way that accentuates those certain unchanging truths. Indeed, Anthems in the Glorious Dawn is the unique book that informs, guides, encourages and inspires its readers through poetry. The underlying messages of hope, redemption, and the power of sacrificial love contained within this compilation help cultivate spiritual development through compelling stories about the places we must leave behind, as well as the power of faith discovered through aspiration.
