About the Book

This book reveals symbols, used so abundantly, in the Old, and New Testaments, what they mean, what they are telling us. Symbols say much more than words. Capitals, in lower case first letters, of words, also tell a great deal. For example, should "holy spirit" be capitalized? Most times no, because, though God is Spirit, Himself, the "holy spirit" is your own spirit, wedded to the Spirit (the Almighty). It is in union with God, but it is, in part, your own spirit. How much is God, how much "you," depends on you!
About the Author: Writing a book is the art of listening, first to God, then oneself. I am Joshua Hinneh, a pen name. It means "Salvation Here." In life, I am Frank Lindsey. My life was nothing to brag about. In my youth I smoked pot, took uppers and downers, and a heavy drinker: even a little coke when it was offered, free of charge. Looking back, I see the person, who had it, was looking for new customers, and hoped I'd get hooked. The above just scratches the surface. Many, who knew me well, would argue that I was a good person, never doing anyone any harm. I'm not a killer, or a thief, and am a truth teller. I didn't necessarily hide anything from people - but then again, water seeks its own level. I had been reared as a Methodist, or Baptist, but they didn't meet my needs. I later became a Mormon for about 25 years. I never made it past deacon, mainly because I never gave to the church. In the last half of 1984, my stepfather (Mom's true love) died of colon cancer. During the time he was bedridden, Mom hired a Jewish Lady to help tend to him. I found that she was, what you call, a "Messianic Jew." She loved Messiah, Yeshua (Jesus), so much differently than I had. I was moved to investigate her faith, and located a Messianic Congregation, just outside Washington, DC. I was amazed at how much I didn't know, as the Pastor spoke! At the close of the service, he said "There is someone here who believes, and wants to learn of God." What he said, and I can't remember just exactly what it was, definitely was speaking to me! I wanted to do more investigating. The next Sabbath, I went forward. The Pastor's teachings were so dynamic, and filled with knowledge I hadn't dreamed of, that I started transcribing many of his taped sermons, to paper. After some time I began to research, and write on my own. The more I learned, the more I knew I didn't know. The depth of knowledge is bottomless, and keeps getting more exciting - never boring. I have written on all the books of the "New Testament," and many books in the Old Testament. My objective was to show that the New and Old Testaments said the same things. They weren't different. I feel I have succeeded. My books are in the stores, or can be ordered. They are "Hidden Manna: Revelation," "Hidden Manna: Matthew," and "Answers To Questions People Never Ask - But Should." More will follow, if possible, in the very little time we have left.
