About the Book

The eternal struggle between good and evil comes to life with a shrewd twist, in the modern epic ANGELICUS The Fall of Zarathustra. Incorporating newly discovered ancient Maya numerology, oddly yet truthfully intertwined into the Biblical book of Revelation and real future astronomical events, extraordinarily fitting into the foretold signs of the sixth seal of the Apocalypse, the author skillfully concocts three distinctive stories, ultimately coming together in an insightful and portent finale. The opening tale is the prelude to Milton´s XVII century heroic poem "Paradise Lost" and recounts the mythical days before the war in heaven, when Luzbel -still a cherub- plots against God and His archangels, and how his rebellious actions and treacherous deeds caused his transformation into the Ha-Satan and his ultimate fall. Angelicus will transport the reader to the cutthroat battles for the seven Heavens, delivering an entertaining account of the angelical war and of its earthly consequences, including the abandonment of the Egregoroi and their Nephilim spawn on our world. The second and third stories take place in the present day, after the much feared end of the Mayan calendar, when our world was evidently not destroyed, yet unknown to humankind, the calendar´s end inaugurates the beginning of a new era, one in which indigo and crystal aura individuals have the chance to steer humanity into a new age of enlightenment, much to the regret of the evil forces agelessly devoted to preventing this from happening. In due prophesy, the Middle East is the chosen region to bring about Armageddon, and its two key scenarios are Pakistan, the first Muslim nation with nuclear assets, facing new dangers as the Chief of Army Staff forges alliances with the secret head of the Tehrik-i-Taliban to bring down the fragile democracy, and finally Iran, brimming with rebellion after the election of its new and far more radical president, now threatening the world with his newly developed nuclear weapons, and a revamped messianic agenda that keeps refusing the right of Israel to exist, and therefore pushing the region towards conflagration. These adventures will take the reader from Manhattan and Rome to Islamabad and Teheran, and will confront the CIA and MI5 against the ISI, VEVAK, and other clandestine entities as the Tehrik-i-Taliban and the Basij, in a fight that will engage our aural protagonists and their celestial allies against the wicked characters and demonic minions opposing them. Angelicus is a novel that delivers non-stop action, intrigue and sharp drama, and runs with it under the maelstrom of western realpolitiks exercised amidst modern secular and clerical middle-eastern traditions. It is a fiction of daring narrative that fusion the fantasy and political thriller genres and presents the reader with an interesting, coincidentally-premonitory and believable twist on the eternal struggle between good and evil. Dare to witness the AngelicusOpus prophesies?
