About the Author: Elizabeth Lonseth grew up near Boston Harbor on Puget Sound, spending her childhood summers riding her horse, playing on the beach, and reading three or four books a day. She attended Olympia High School and Washington State University.
Lonseth can see the ways God has prepared her to be a writer throughout her life, including the amazing Bible teachers she's encountered since her salvation at age sixteen. In 2004, her husband challenged her to write a book, and Lonseth began the Johansen Family Saga.
She is also the author of Leave It with Him and Cares of This World, the first two books in the series. In addition, after both her parents and her husband's parents experienced age-related memory degeneration, Lonseth wrote two nonfiction books on dementia: A Gradual Disappearance and The Dangers of Denial.
Elizabeth has been married for forty-four years and has three daughters.
