Da es den Rahmen dieser Arbeit überstiegen hätte, die Eignung jeder Rechtsform für alle potenziellen Medienunternehmen zu analysieren, hat die Verfasserin auf ein fiktives Beispielunternehmen als Grundlage dieser Arbeit zurückgegriffen. Eine detaillierte Erläuterung, welche Voraussetzungen für die Firmengründung gegeben sind und welche Anforderungen an das künftige Unternehmen gestellt werden, befindet sich in der Ausgangssituation in Teil 1. Im zweiten Teil dieser Arbeit wurden grundlegende Eigenschaften des zu gründenden Unternehmens untersucht. Da bereits nach dieser ersten Betrachtung zahlreiche Rechtsformen für die Mediengründung des dieser Arbeit zu Grunde liegenden Beispiels auszuschließen waren, hat die Verfasserin als Abschluss des zweiten Teils dieser Arbeit eine Zwischenbilanz gezogen und vier Rechtsformen, die für die Gründung des Beispielunternehmens in Frage kommen, herausgearbeitet. Diese vier Rechtsformen werden im sich anschließenden dritten Teil dieser Arbeit anhand unterschiedlicher Kriterien verglichen, um so letztlich im fünften Teil zu einer Entscheidung für die am besten zur geplanten Unternehmung passenden Rechtsform zu gelangen. Ferner befindet sich im Anhang eine ausführliche Beschreibung aller Rechtsformen, die für Betriebe mit erwerbswirtschaftlichen Zielen geeignet sind. Sie kann als Ergänzung für die vorliegende Arbeit verstanden werden.
