Masterarbeit aus dem Jahr 2019 im Fachbereich Informatik - Internet, neue Technologien, Note: 1,7, Fachhochschule Trier - Umwelt-Campus, Standort Birkenfeld, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Ziel der Arbeit ist die Entwicklung von Konzepten und Inhalten für die MINTcoach-App, die dazu beitragen, dass einerseits die Bindung zur App gestärkt und andererseits das Interesse für MINT-Themen insbesondere das von Schülerinnen gefördert wird. Die neuen Inhaltselemente sollen auf dem bestehenden Konzept der MINTcoach-App aufbauen und dieses ergänzen und erweitern. Mit einer Zielgruppenanalyse werden verschiedene Lebensbereiche von Schülerinnen untersucht, um Aufschluss über mediale und freizeitliche Interessen sowie über das soziale Umfeld zu erhalten. Außerdem sollen verschiedene Motivationsanreize in virtuellen Spielumgebungen ermittelt werden. Hierzu werden, in Anlehnung an den Gamification-Ansatz und Ansätze des digitalen Lernens, Spielmechaniken und Spieldynamiken ausfindig gemacht, die dazu geeignet sind, Schülerinnen an MINT-Themen heranführen zu können. Dazu sollen unter anderem die Charakteristika des Gamification-Ansatzes analysiert und im praktischen Teil dieser Arbeit angewendet werden. Über die neuen Konzepte soll der Zugang zu weiter reichenden Lernerfahrungen erleichtert werden, indem mit Belohnungskonzepten der Spaß an der Anwendung geweckt und die Adhärenz gesteigert wird. Die Zielsetzung ist, einerseits eine positive Einstellung zum MINT-Bereich zu erzeugen und andererseits eine Zunahme der Nutzungsaktivitäten innerhalb der MINTcoach-App zu fördern. Mit einer anschließenden Evaluation sollen die bereits implementierten und testbaren Inhalte auf ihre Bedienfreundlichkeit geprüft werden. Die MINT-App richtet sich an Schulkinder der 6. und 7. Klasse. Dabei werden vorwiegend Schülerinnen berücksichtigt, um frühzeitig die Motivation für den MINT-Bereich zu wecken.
