It's been said America has seen her best days. In searching for the formula for exceptionalism, Lt. (Ret.) Frank Moore recounts moments of exceptionalism in his experiences on 9/11, the heroism he witnessed during his career in the FDNY, and our country's heroic story. He contrasts America past to America present to identify what's changed: one ingredient stands out--a Judeo-Christian foundation. It was there from the beginning but is being erased today. Evidence shows that the Founders did not simply believe in Christian principles, but that God visibly acted on behalf of the new country. America the Exceptional is America's siren call to return to the formula for true greatness.
"As a veteran FDNY fire fighter who responded to and worked the horrible scene at Ground Zero following the 9/11 attacks, Frank Moore has earned the right and has the insights to address what has gone seriously wrong with America. What he has to say in America the Exceptional is exceptionally spot-on!"
-- Dr. Carol Swain, author, political pundit and former college professor at Princeton and Vanderbilt
"Frank Moore has captured the intentions of the Founding Fathers and their documents that established the standards for America . . . that link "our Creator" to our country's purpose. Forgetting the basics of our founding principles will lead our country toward secularism and away from our Creator, destroying America as we have known it."
-- Brigadier General R. Dennis Kerr, USA, retired
"You have captured the key insights that made America great and presented them in a captivating way. America the Exceptional should be read across America. For our nation to preserve its freedoms, we must rediscover its founding secrets, and this book does exactly that."
-- William J. Federer, American historian and author
