About the Book

Sigmund Freud says..."This is the darkest part, the most impenetrable of our personality. The place of Chaos. It is filled with energy from the drives, but without showing any organization, no general will, he intended merely to satisfy instinctual needs, in accordance with the principle of pleasure. The id knows and does not tolerate contradiction. There is no evidence of flow of time." Jason Glover is back with a new installment in his id series. AN AMBIGUOUS id, is book four in this fast paced psychological thriller series. When three deaths shake the sleepy mountain town of Asheville, North Carolina, special agents Ernest Paul Kidder and Dr. Mahan Pierce are called on a hunch to look into the tragedies...all presumed accidental, natural...forgotten. What they uncover is cold blooded murder, and the hunt for yet another illusive killer begins. Kidder is glad for for the escape, his father had just won the governorship of Florida, and just as he felt he had escaped his old man's shadows, he found himself in the midst of the Kidder name all over again. He did not like the attention...and all that came with it. The Fourth of July killings in St. Augustine still haunted him, as did the whereabouts of the notorious serial killer responsible, Abraham Kinsinger. Now, every chance to bring another killer to justice proved poetic, therapeutic. Kidder needed the chase, as the search of closure from his past continued. However Dr. Mahan Pierce was fighting another dilemma, a secret, one in which her stomach only knew the hardened truth. But she was good at keeping things locked inside, though not so good at battling the depression and nightmares that had started to plague her once in control mind. Still, she excelled at tracking down killers, and most times, lately, that was the only way to keep her sanity, to keep the sickness away from her. But the truth was, they weren't welcome in Asheville, the local sheriff felt he had everything under control, and with motives galore and more victims on the horizon, Mahan and Kidder knew they had to work quickly to find the killer, or killers, before the surrounding mountain forest and the lynch mob of locals honed in on them. The clock begins as soon as they step off the plane, and the killer they quickly discover, somehow knows whats going on inside the investigation and remains a couple steps ahead of them at all times. It becomes clear that perhaps they weren't in control of their own investigation...puppets. Undeterred, their pasts, and their own ids once again stand in the way of truth, the confusing case before them, and the unspoken loyalty between them. Sadly, the truth is, they weren't in control of their own demons...never had been...perhaps never will be. Things aren't always as they seem in this thriller. and it becomes clear the killer must be apprehended quickly...before their biggest fears come true...and they are met with the silver linings of their own minds and the self destruction that is never too far behind. When your mind starts playing tricks on you, everyone has a breaking point... Everyone has an id...
About the Author: Jason Glover was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida, were he still resides, and his enthusiasm for writing remains unscathed. Writing since the ever so young age of eight, Jason still tries to deliver words and stories with a voice and passion never heard before. Now, he brings a new style to the table with his much anticipated, psychological thriller, ID series...originated from the mind of Sigmund Freud and his psychoanalytic theory. Jason's writing style always blends a sensitive yet complex approach to life, love, friendship, tragedy, and the unspeakable, sometimes cruel, truth and thoughts often trapped in the human mind. The relationships formed with his characters are driven by his devotion of life and the human spirits ability to triumph over tragedy. His characters are down to earth, suffering, and are only enhanced by the unique, direct, powerful, sometimes humorous writing style that Jason delivers. Jason spends as much time as possible on the Florida coastline. Whether fishing, playing in the salty surf, or basking in the rays with a good book, the ocean and its elements have always been a major part of his life, and a place to call home. Jason has finished four novels in his newly created ID series, with a STRANDED ID being the first in print. A FAMILIAR ID, A WAYWARD ID, and AN AMBIGUOUS id are also available and he is currently working on a fifthth installment to the ID series. He is also in the process of rewriting many novels he wrote as a yearling, in hopes of showing another, even darker, yet beautiful portrayal of the human endearment. His storytelling will certainly entertain you, as the keyboard entertains his fingertips.
