Diplomarbeit aus dem Jahr 2014 im Fachbereich BWL - Offline-Marketing und Online-Marketing, Note: 2,0, Wissenschaftliche Hochschule Lahr (Allgemeine BWL / Marketing), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Sowohl Studenten als auch Absolventen attestieren der AKAD University in Befragungen regelmäßig eine überdurchschnittlich hohe Studienqualität. In Folge dessen zeigen sich die Befragten auf einem sehr hohen Niveau zufrieden mit den Bedingungen im Fernstudium, würden sich mehrheitlich wieder für ein AKAD-Studium entscheiden und Bekannten ein solches sogar empfehlen. Unter diesen Voraussetzungen liegt der Schluss nahe, dass die Ehemaligen auch ein Interesse daran haben über das Studium hinaus in Kontakt mit ihrer Hochschule zu bleiben. Eine Möglichkeit dazu bietet AKADalumni e.V. - die Alumniorganisation der AKAD University. Die Situation bei AKADalumni e.V. war am Ende des Jahres 2012 jedoch eine andere. Nach einem deutlichen Mitgliederwachstum in den Gründerjahren des Vereins, setzte 2009 eine Stagnation der Mitgliederzahlen ein, welche ab 2011 gar in einen Rückgang mündete. In Folge dieser Entwicklung wurden immer weniger Veranstaltungen durch AKADalumni e.V. angeboten, da deren Auslastung stark rückläufig war. Darüber hinaus trat eine zunehmende Gefährdung der finanziellen Eigenständigkeit des Vereins sowie seiner Aktivitäten ein. Somit war die Wirksamkeit von AKADalumni e.V. zu diesem Zeitpunkt stark eingeschränkt. Im Focus der nachfolgenden Betrachtungen steht daher die Frage, wie die Alumniarbeit der AKAD University zu gestalten ist, damit sich die Zufriedenheit mit dem Studium zukünftig auch in einem aktiven Alumnileben widerspiegelt, in dessen Mittelpunkt AKADalumni e.V. steht. Die Aktivitäten des Alumnivereins sollen dabei so konzipiert werden, dass sie einen Beitrag zur Bindung der Alumni an die AKAD University leisten.
