Alma de mariposa es un libro de poesías de amor, en su mayoría, correspondiente a la etapa de juventud de la autora y en el que vuelca sus sentimientos más íntimos para darnos una idea de lo que es el amor y el desamor expresados en bellas imágenes poéticas que nos susurran con lenguaje refinado y metafórico, haciendo uso de la sinestesia, la personificación y otros recursos literarios, para llevarnos por un mundo onírico donde solo el amor y las campanillas azules conviven en el huerto de la irrealidad.Un ejemplo de ello son los siguientes versos del poema "Espera" ...Siento quebrarlos cristales de los sueñoshincan despiadadamenteel aturdido corazón.La soledad impasiblecompadece mi suertey se queda a mi ladotemblando como yo...El alma de mariposa de la autora va del tema del amor por la pareja al amor filial, cuando nos retrata magistralmente a su abuela, de modo que mediante un solo poema somos capaces de conocer las principales características de aquella viejecita frágil que amaba el mar: Cabellos plomizosojillos de semilla de frutabombaun cascabel recorría tus labiospara enredarse con la brisa...Y no puede quedarse atrás para una mariposa el gusto por la naturaleza a la que siempre evoca para mostrarnos una pintura del paisaje tropical que rodeaba su alma sensible: Vamos a tumbarnos bajo los árbolestendernos con deleite al solbeber de la vasija de las manos...Y ni qué decir del tema del mar que siempre está presente en toda su obra como recurso sanador de su vida y de su alma, como bálsamo celeste que adorna sus días....Hoy me escaparé hacia el marpara vestirme con su traje de algasmezclarme con la brisa salvajesentir el olor de los sargazos frescos...También nos describe su entorno, cuando se refiere a algunas de las ciudades donde transcurrió su juventud, mostrándonos el encanto que las caracteriza y que las hace sublimes: Porque bebí del pozo mágico custodiado por ranasy del que brotan dulces aguasaún cuando por el mar está rodeado.Porque me dieron de beber las ranases que estoy junto a tien este puerto...Por último, cierra el poemario con cuatro sonetos de amor, como para dejar constancia de que esta fina forma poética nunca pasa de moda y que está vigente en nuestros días para todo el que sepa valorar la poesía de calidad: En espiral trepó la enredaderaapoderándose del tallo altivoque desdeñó la soledad, cautivocon los encantos de la primavera...Esperamos que mediante la lectura de este libro puedan viajar hacia los sentimientos contradictorios a que nos empuja la llama del amor cuando está recién encendida y que nos lleva por angostos vericuetos de los que se hace difícil salir. Aunque, afortunadamente, otras veces nos suspende hasta las nubes, para beber de la copa de la felicidad con un goce indescriptible.
