About the Author: Davinder Ranu spent a happy childhood in a Punjab village. When his family moved to Vancouver, Canada, Ranu was exposed to harsh lessons about the prejudice and intolerance of the world. He spent some time as a reclusive writer, but a visit to his home village gave him new passion and inspiration.
Ranu's poem "Prayer" appeared in the collection Fire and Light. He also wrote the Punjabi lyrics for the song "Jatt te Yankan."
In his free time, Ranu enjoys watching Bollywood movies, working out at the gym, and enjoying the great outdoors around his home in Surrey, British Columbia.
