About the Author: As a child I loved English as a subject at school and had a serious passion for reading and writing my own stories yet life takes you on a journey where fate plays a significant role in how you evolve as a person. My voyage of life and discovery postponed a literary passion; however, the experiences of living have blessed me, enabling me to build on an already vivid imagination, the fuel feeding the stories I want to tell so others can enjoy what I love doing. I have been very privileged in my childhood to have had a Father who was in the British Army and been able to experience spending many happy years in Kenya and Singapore as well as Western Europe. This wonderfully diverse period of my life fuelled my imagination further which is still as active now as was then. This transitional lifestyle encouraged creativity and ensured I had a companionable nature due to the frequent moves to different countries. I always enjoyed school especially English, Mathematics and Art though on reaching adolescence the impact of the opposite sex did pay a heavy toll on my O level results. On the spur of the moment just before I turned seventeen and because I didn't want to make that last move with my family, I decided to follow in the footsteps of my father and joined the British Army. My life from then until a few years ago had been an unsettled one, full of the ordinary, the unexciting and the lacklustre, stories to tell now yes but with a deep disappointment for the wasted years. I did learn many a lesson on life and where I went wrong but karma looked upon my mediocre existence and sent a welcoming lifeline, my partner Lizzie. Beautiful loving and kind and who has rekindled my passion and desires for life and the potential which has lain dormant within me for so many years. Reflecting on my life I now understand they were chapters in a story which continues and will end up somewhere, but this time, I have chosen the path. I lead a happy fulfilled loving life, the catalyst which resurrected my passion and imagination to drive my ambition to become a successful writer. Currently I am living in Shrewsbury with my beautiful Lizzie and Gus our handsome Blue Mitted Rag Doll cat and am looking forward to the rest of my life.
