About the Book

DO YOU OR A LOVED ONE HAVE LOW VISION? Are you a kid just learning to read? Grandparents & grandkids alike will find something fun in this book. (And so will a lot of people in the middle.) THIS 18-POINT FONT, BASIC COOKBOOK IS FOR YOU! Best edition yet of All Grammy's Recipes! Tweaked, tested, tasted, and re-written for easier reading and cooking, with NEW recipes added like Chop Suey and Camp Cooking Tips, super-easy, delicious bread to make IN your campfire, Emergency Food Supplies summary, and includes Andrea's Incredible Truffles with three center flavors as well! (Hint--uses regular grocery store chocolate chips.) Everything in Grammy's first two cookbooks is here (except a recipe or two that nobody seemed to like except the pug girls), plus much more. Very Large Print cookbook with versatile recipes such as breads, rice, eggs, vegetables, salads, soups, appetizers & more. Some recipes have been handed down for generations, including great-grandmother Dodo's scrumptious treats. Other recipes are as modern as today. These taste-tested recipes include but are not limited to healthful, low-sugar, fiber-rich foods. This is not fancy French cooking, not rigidly exact recipes but more "by rule-of-thumb," with possibilities for you to make each recipe your own. This book contains several hard-to-find fructose-free dessert recipes as well as regular, full-sugar treats. Something for nearly everyone; carb counting, food-based crafts, nutritious dog food, bird food & even newborn puppy formula & feeding schedules are included. Not elaborate, but a good, overview of useful recipes of all kinds, with charts, references and data. Reach for this book when you don't want to spend hours online, but do want delicious food, helpful cooking conversions & just plain ideas with the daily question in mind: "What should we have for dinner?" And one more question is answered: "Can I read the recipe?" YES! As ever, Pappa has been right at Grammy's side, cooking, cleaning, shopping, tasting & helping his darndest to make this the best "All Grammy's" Recipe book ever. 18-point font for easier reading. Illustrated by Grammy's 1999 computer with some coaxing from Grammy and a friend's tech-savvy son, Jay.
