Alcools est un recueil de poèmes de Guillaume Apollinaire, paru en 1913 à la NRF Gallimard.
  • Ce recueil de poésies, qu'Apollinaire mit 16 ans à élaborer, annonce la quête de modernité de la poésie, de jeu avec la tradition, de renouvellement formel de la poésie de l'auteur. Alcools est un recueil qui explore de nombreux aspects de la poésie, allant de l'élégie au vers libre, qui valut à Apollinaire d'être qualifié de mystificateur.
  • Mais il réinvente aussi la forme poétique: il détruit la conception classique syntaxique de Ronsard. Il est le précurseur du surréalisme poétique, il consacre une nouvelle poésie d'ivresse et de mythes.

2) A propos de l'auteur
  • Guillaume Albert Vladimir Alexandre Apollinaire de Kostrowitzky dit Guillaume Apollinaire, est un poète et écrivain français, né le 25 août 1880 à Rome. Il meurt à Paris le 9 novembre 1918 de la grippe espagnole, mais est déclaré mort pour la France en raison de son engagement durant la guerre.
  • Considéré comme l'un des poètes français les plus importants du xxe siècle, il est l'auteur de poèmes tels Zone, La Chanson du mal-aimé, Le Pont Mirabeau, ayant fait l'objet de plusieurs adaptations en chanson au cours du siècle.
