But the dice is suddenly cast when Ike a hardworking and courageous young man witnesses the snatching of his betrothed from childhood by the royal court, who nearly got killed for protesting and was forced to flee into exile, It is from exile with a heart filled with betrayal, anger revenge and pity for his people that he sets in motion the downfall of King Ohachi breaking the reign of tyranny, liberating the people of Kaba and of course reclaiming the love of his life Ekemma.
