About the Author: Born in Cheshire in the forties, I spent most of my time sat on a pony riding round the country lanes with my freinds and a mixed pack of dogs following. I did go to school in between, English History and Art were my best subjects. I left school and went into my job of a life time, I had spent every holiday doing this job for a couple of years so knew it inside out, Horses, race horses, hunters, show jumping, show horses, and polo ponies. I met several celebraties and even royalty while doing this job.I left it to bring up a family, My husband and I bred showed and judged gundogs, I became a KC judge. Ten years ago we retired here to Shropshire, due to health problems I had to give up my horses and active involvement in dogs, Gardening is our hobby now, I plan and point to what needs doing, not able to do much more. I have taken up writing and love it. I hope who ever reads this, my first book enjoys reading it it as much as I have enjoyed writing it. I have plans for others to follow.
