The world is a very big place, especially when seen through little eyes. There's so much going on that doesn't make sense, and it's impossible to know what the future holds. From disasters to celebrations, from sadness to joy, life is full of surprises-and some of them can be pretty hard to deal with.
The Adventures of Boo Boo Buttons explores life's surprises as seen through the tiny eyes of an innocent stuffed monkey, who unexpectedly goes from sitting on a shelf in a gift store to travelling on an incredible journey through the real world. Together with his faithful human companion, the young toy visits unusual places and experiences new situations he doesn't always know how to handle, and he learns very important life lessons in the process.
A delightfully entertaining book for preschoolers and early readers, as well as for their parents, The Adventures of Boo Boo Buttons promotes independence, imaginative thinking, loyalty, kindness, and teamwork. It's also sure to help sensitive young thinkers build self-confidence and develop a growing sense of pride.
About the Author: Kirsty Hiscutt was born in 1963 in Gibraltar while her father was serving in the Royal Navy. When she grew up, she fell in love with a man who also served in the Royal Navy-she and her husband Mark wed in 1982, three weeks after his return from the Falklands War.
Together, Kirsty and Mark have raised six children and are proud grandparents of four. They currently reside in southern England, where Kirsty recently decided to venture into writing books.
Inspired by her youngest son's long-term love for his cuddly stuffed monkey, Kirsty penned The Adventures of Boo Boo Buttons. A delightful and didactic book for young children, it follows a playful toy monkey named Boo Boo Buttons as he and his human companion explore new places together and learn valuable lessons about life.
