About the Book

The Adventures of Baby Bella Ista Sapa

The world is unveiled through the eyes of a lovable Female Saint Bernard. The educational sequence begins on an American Indian reservation located in Flandreau, South Dakota in the United States of American. Geography and History are taught. Bella's name means "Beautiful Black Eye" in Italian and Sioux language. Ista (ee-shdah) Sapa (sah-pah) is the pronunciation in Lakota lingo.

Acadia National Park is highlighted. Bella's first adventure illustrates Baby Bella's journey across the United States to Bella's first home, in Acadia National Park, in Maine located on the secluded prestigious "Mitchel Cove". This is where Famous Americans once exchanged Secret Codes, while writing about the Cuban Missel Crises over French cuisine. Lopaus Point is full of American history!Madame Byrne, the author, is an Global Environmentalist and citizen of the planet who enjoys being a vegetarian along with Bella. Ms Bryne offers a warm book that highlights the sites and sounds of one of the most visited parks in the United States which was inhabited by American Indians and was French soil.

MDI (Mount Desert Island ) or as French Explorer Samuel de Champlain named it "Isle des Monts Desert " has thrived with many different inhabitants. It is one the largest islands off the coast of the Great State of Maine. The pages of artistic sketches are derived from authentic photographs and are the real events and places where the delightful Saint Bernard has grown from 8 weeks through her current age. Bella will enjoy her third birthday on October 28, 2022. Fun details regarding Bella's private life are offered upon request.

This is a non fiction book that teaches grade school children about geography, environmental science and is offered in French and English for teaching both languages. The book details how physical exercise is essential for humans through the lovely activities of a Saint Bernard!

International travel is highlighted in the next book when Bella takes a plane and crosses the Atlantic twice to reach her family home at the base of Mont Blanc. This delightful first is a long series which will be a joy to read with or to your children as they mature into responsible creative global citizens.

Young children can "play eye spy" with Bella's ears flying and tongue licking repeats! Everyone will be able to connect objects from one book to the next i.e. the "Orange Lobster Nets" which leads to discusses regarding pollution left by leading industries around the world and how communities combat these unintentional gifts! The series offers a chance to teach many many life lessons! Older grade school children can proceed with both books in French and English and they create a great gift package.

The world is an adventure and there is something to learn with every new paw print!
