Dal corso di costume presso il Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, frequentato nel biennio 1949-51, la storia di Berselli si misura con l'evoluzione delle arti rappresentative e performative, dal secondo dopoguerra ai primi anni di questo secolo, in Italia e all'estero.Che si sia trattato di lavorare per il cinema o il teatro, la televisione o la pubblicità, l'arte di Adriana Berselli è testimonianza di una capacità creativa e interpretativa coordinata e funzionale alla pluralità delle espressioni artistiche coinvolte in ogni singola rappresentazione, dalla regia, alla sceneggiatura, dalla scenografia alla fotografia. About the Author: Vittoria Caterina Caratozzolo insegna Storia e Teoria della Moda presso il Master in Fashion Studies dell'Università "Sapienza" di Roma. Ha pubblicato saggi in rivista e volume sulla moda italiana. I suoi attuali temi di ricerca riguardano le rappresentazioni della moda, gli esotismi e la globalizzazione culturale. Recentemente ha pubblicato i saggi Irene Brin e Piccolo Dizionario dell'Alta Moda Italiana, in Bellissima. L'Italia dell'Alta Moda 1945-1968, Electa, 2014; Reorienting Fashion: Italy's Wayfinding after World War II, in The Glamour of Italian Fashion 1945-2014, ed.
