A diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder does not mean you are somehow broken or your brain is wired "wrong." Nor does ADHD mean you cannot realize your dreams or live a successful, fulfilling life.
ADHD Heroes proves this, while shattering the notion ADHD is a weakness. ADHD coach Judy Brenis tells the stories of twenty-five dynamic, remarkable people who, by recognizing the hidden gifts of ADHD, went on to live lives full of passion, purpose, and possibilities.
ADHD Heroes includes the personal stories of a film director and an artist, a charter school principal and a world renowned psychiatrist and leading expert on ADHD, among others. All overcame the internal doubts and external assumptions an ADHD diagnosis generates. All embraced their natural talents and capitalized on the often overlooked strengths of the ADHD-wired mind. All are intelligent, creative, authentic individuals living life to the fullest.
You have ADHD. ADHD does not have you, nor does it define you. The people whose stories appear in ADHD Heroes understand this.
