She was just that popular with her Tarot card readings and Palm readings. She was even known to communicate with the spirits. This year, however, Madame Esmeralda would be missing. Taking too young, at the age of 63, she succumbed to a massive heart attack and died. What would become of the carnival?Her last will and testament stipulated that her twin granddaughters, travel and perform with the carnival for two years before making any decision on the fate of the traveling carnival. So, when the season began, the girls, along with the rest of the troupe, began what would be a summer to be remembered.Sharing the Gypsy blood of Madame Esmeralda, the twins could only hope to do a tiny bit of what their grandmother could.
