References to Covid-19 is made frequently. The pandemic has affected every part of the world. This book ACBC when expanded stands for 'After Corona Before Corona'. As humans we tend to forget the bad memories. We tend to live in the present. We may emerge from the pandemic with fewer lives lost but many individuals may be economically ruined and destitution, stress, suicide and crime could yet cause more deaths than the epidemic. The anxiety is the unfolding crisis and how it can trample upon our hard-earned savings and the lifestyle changes that we may need to undergo at this juncture. One does not know what action to take. Each of the worldwide governments have suffered not having faced a predicament as now. But the uniformity in stimulus measures have been used to overcome the distress but they have fallen short in overcoming hunger, livelihoods, job losses, etc. Governments have gone beyond to protect even small businesses and their employees.When we tried to decipher as to what went wrong during the Great Depression or the World war little can we gather or remember. As authors, we tried searching the ill effects and the learnings from the two major disasters the world faced on the earlier occasions. We could not locate much.
