Activity 5 (a) To verify that the sum of all interior angles of a triangle is 180 degree by paper cutting and pasting. (b) To verify that an exterior angle of a triangle is equal to sum of hte two interior opposite angles by paper cutting and pasting. Activity 6 To verify that a triangle can be drawn only if the sum of lengths of any two sides is greater than the third side, using wooden sticks. Set 1: 5 cm, 7 cm, 14 cm Set 2:5 cm, 7cm, 11 cm. Activity 7 To verify Pythagoras theorem using a squared paper by shading the squares. Activity 8 To verify by paper cutting and superimposing that diagonal of a parallelogram divides it tinto two congruent triangles. Activity 9 To find the ratio of circumference of a circle to its diameter. Activity 10 (a) To draw a cube with given edge (say 6 cm long) on an isometric dot paper. (b) To make oblique sketch of the cube on hte squared paper. (c) To draw a cuboid of given dimensions (say 7 units, 5 units and 3 units) on an isometric dot paper. (d) To make and oblique sketch of hte cuboid of 7 units, 5 units, 3 units on a squared paper. Activity 11 To make the different shapes using unit cubes.
