In What about the Sabbath? Pastor Holmes takes the reader across time and describes his long journey home. From Sunday School to selling wine. From the outhouse to the White House. From Sabbath keeping to Sunday keeping and back to Sabbath keeping. He was raised Seventh-day Adventist by his grandmother. At an early age, he rebelled against the Church. Later, he served in the military, joined other churches, obtained advanced degrees, and pastored numerous churches in several different denominations. Eventually, he started his own church and businesses as he became a rock-star, mega-church pastor. He would later be elected, then consecrated Bishop. Pastor Holmes has traveled the world and participated in an all-night prayer meeting in Nigeria, where over one million worshippers were in attendance. He has witnessed numerous miracles, signs, and wonders and supernatural healings.
This book takes the readers behind the scenes of the church world as they've never experienced. Some names, dates, and places have been fictionalized in order to protect the privacy of individuals. He still maintains close relationships with his good friends and family, many of whom are Sunday-keeping Christians. Then it happened. While preaching on Easter Sunday and after being away from the Seventh-day Adventist Church for over 30 years, he heard the Lord speak to him, saying, "What about the Sabbath?!" These four words changed his life forever.
