Die Mehrgenerationen-Familie erleidet eine Identitätskrise. Rudolfs Großmutter, Bóbel, bleibt die einzige Standhafte in Tradition und Religion. 1948 zieht die Familie von Eichstetten nach Freiburg im Breisgau zurück. Bóbel verfolgt mit voller Hingabe die Weiterentwicklung von Rudolf. Auch Rudolf kommt von seiner Großmutter nicht los. Es zeigt sich, dass die umsichtige und tolerante Weltbürgerin Bóbel ihrem Enkel Rudolf genug Rüstzeug mitgegeben hat, in Begegnungen und behutsamen Gesprächen Menschen mit Mehrfachidentitäten an sich zu binden und zu unverbrüchlichen Freundschaften zu bewegen. So lernt Rudolf großartige Künstler und charismatische Persönlichkeiten des zwanzigsten Jahrhunderts als Weggefährten kennen, achten, lieben und verstehen und in sein Leben einzubinden. About the Author: Der Autor ° Rolf D. Kaufmann, Jahrgang 1942, arbeitete als Lehrender 29 Jahre an einer deutschen und 6 Jahre an einer italienischen Universität. Er studierte Kunstgeschichte, Malerei und Grafik in Rom, Politikwissenschaften in München, Pädagogik, Philosophie, Soziologie, Indologie und Sinologie in Freiburg. ° Die ihn am meisten beschäftigenden Themenstellungen sind Marginalität, in gesellschaftlicher Grenzstellung befindliche Personen, Ethnizität, Ambivalenzen in Mehrfachidentitäten - und der Dialog zwischen den Kulturen. Private und berufliche Gründe führten ihn nach Asien, Vorderasien, Afrika, in arabische Länder und nach Süd- und Mittelamerika.
