About the Book

This book is a short fictional thriller.Faced with a life and death battle you can pick 6 people to help you survive. They can be anybody from history right up to the present day. Who would you choose? This is what Mason and Alfred must do. One good, one evil, the choices they make in the next 12 months will be crucial to survival in the final battle. There can only be one victor and this book tells the epic story of how the choices they make affects each man's life.Highs, lows, twists and turns. This story will keep you on the edge of your seat, and if like me you have a vivid imagination you will start to make your own choices. This is what makes this book so intriguing. As the story unfolds each man struggles to get the upper hand. Mason is compelled to do the right thing. He is a good man and hopes to be reunited with his wife at the end. Alfred loves to inflict pain and suffering. Some of his choices focus on victims from his illustrious past, this time around prolonging death as long as possible so his craving to kill can be satisfied and he can focus on Mason. Mason soon learns the power of the balls after making an early mistake. Choosing wisely is crucial, and as time progresses Mason will learn how cunning and cleaver his foe Alfred is. It takes Mason quite some time to figure out who and what he is dealing with but when he does it instils fear within him. Alfred on the other hand finds out all about Mason very quickly due to skills passed on from his father. Much to Alfred's detriment and ignorance he underestimates Mason, and this could cost him his life at the end when he has to face him in the final battle. July 2nd, 2018 in the small town of Cannon Ball, North Dakota is where they finally pit their wits against each other in a titanic battle to the death. Outnumbered 4 to 1 Alfred has to use all his cunning and knowledge of sophisticated computer systems to help him overcome the odds. Masons has tried to make smart choices. He has conserved 4 balls and brought together a crack team to help him defeat Alfred. Cannon Ball has been secured and fortified by the team and they await Alfred's first move. The battle that ensues will see each man pushed to the limit, a struggle between good and evil. Who will win? What would you do? Who would you choose?I hope you enjoy the story and have fun creating your own scenarios as I did.
