40 Days {To Awaken the Power Within} is the success tool of the decade. This is a book and workbook combination giving clear and practical advice and guidance in our journeys to be our best. Here's an example: Day 12 is titled "Self -Discipline" and asks the question, "If you had the self-discipline to make a decision to do something and it was as good as done, what in the world could stop you? " Dave and Bill, the authors, are real people who have struggled with life's ups and downs in the real world. They know that self-discipline isn't something that just happens overnight. They know that most resolutions last only a few weeks. In studying what it takes to have the discipline to actually follow the path to personal achievement, they know that nothing succeeds like success. The workbook for the Self-Discipline Day asks the reader to define what they, the reader, would do if they knew they would stick with it. It goes on to ask the reader to define the steps they will take, right now, to begin moving them in this direction; building a success base, one step at a time. Small steps, if that is what the reader needs to have a success, larger steps if the reader is more advanced. Bill Eveleth and Dave DeBlander are an interesting paring. Dave is living the life that many would only dream could exist. He travels the world, has a wonderful family who are close by and happily active in each other's life. He runs a successful business and loves to teach others about how they can also find success. One word that describes Dave is the title of Day 36, FUN, which, of course, Dave wrote. Bill, on the other hand likes to get up at 5:00 am in the morning and start his day with a good workout and 20 minutes of meditation to get his focus for the day set. He pretty much accomplishes everything he sets his mind to and does so by Focus and Discipline. Bill's has found the world's best part time job in teaching college as an Adjunct Instructor. He challenges his students to push their comfort zones and be their very best. Like Dave, Bill has a wonderful family that is close by and supportive. One word that describes Bill is the title of Day 21, Work, which Bill wrote. This day asks the question: "How Do I Get Excited About My Work?" Both Bill and Dave were raised in modest but happy homes. Both have been married to the same woman for over 30 years. Both believe that Greatness is in all of us. 40 Days {To Awaken the Power Within} is written to bring out that Greatness, to "Awaken the Power Within."
About the Author: Bill Eveleth is one of those fortunate people that loves what he does and does what he loves. He owns his own business, teaching and coaching business owners to improve the performance of their businesses. He also teaches college at the graduate and undergraduate level. If learning is one of his passions, teaching is as important to him. He is the author of two books, The 7 Rules of Goals, Getting What you Want and 40 Days {To Awaken The Power Within}.
