Freddy Marín, crea y recrea, para poner en escena, narrativas que describen como se manifiestan las creencias, los saberes, sentimientos, emociones, las ideas, las expectativas que sobre las variadas categorías que definen la constante relación entre los seres humanos y entre estos y la naturaleza ha construido la cultura. Se preocupa en mostrar el mundo de valores que tienen la infinitud de la humanidad, pero al mismo tiempo quiere fijar posición, no quiere dejar pasar la oportunidad para, precisamente, mostrar de igual forma el mundo interior de un dramaturgo que alcanza la plenitud de su vida al mismo ritmo y fragor que la plenitud de un tiempo en el que la humanidad está definiendo su vida futura en términos políticos, sociales, económicos y culturales.
Es el compromiso del autor consigo mismo, con su obra y con los demás. Es el autor que no quiere desprenderse de la responsabilidad, negada para quienes escriben bien sea literatura, dramaturgia, música o expresión corporal, según algún tipo de crítica, de decir lo que cree y siente a través de las artes, en este caso del Teatro. Ese teatro que a veces muere de mengua y muchas veces resucita en la dramaturgia que se hace necesaria ante la angustia de la humanidad por su sobrevivencia, pero mucho más por buscar las razones de su realización.
La dramaturgia, entendida como actividad de pensamiento y, más en concreto, de reflexión, donde lo volitivo, la performatividad, el sinequismo, son cuidados en detalles para crear afinidades electivas e informar a sus lectores del origen del drama de las sociedades contemporáneas que se nos presentan a diario en formas de espirales en la puesta en escena de una realidad cruda, tangente, de crisis de hiper expresividad y casi nula articulación de la palabra, que viaja a gran velocidad por las calles y carreteras de las redes sociales.
En la obra de Marín encontramos igualmente una crítica de la cultura, convertida en un hecho tangencial en la dramaturgia. No solo para quienes lo leen exclusivamente a la luz de sus intencionalidades teatrales, sino también para aquellos que nos encontramos a las orillas del teatro como simples, numinosos y expectantes seres atosigados de cultura. Como crítico de las ideologías o escritor que revoluciona su propia obra y su propio andar, predomina en él una necesidad de fijar el tiempo y el espacio en el que habita y lo habita. De lanzar su palabra y con ella impregnar de conciencia, o en todo caso de reflexión, casi espiritual, sobre las infinitas pasiones y negaciones que, de tristezas y alegrías, de lo sublime y lo prosaico, amor y odio, vidas y muertes, péndula del teatro a lo cotidiano, y viceversa, en la realización humana de estos días.
