About the Book
Are you a college student living on your own for the first time (or maybe you are a parent of one)?
Do you live alone or with a roommate or significant other (Sorry, your cat doesn't count!)
Do you wish you could have perfectly portioned recipes for 1-2 people so you didn't have to eat leftovers ALL THE TIME?
Do you wish that you could eat healthy and not waste so much freaking food because you get sick of eating the same thing for a whole week straight?
Are you sick of take out and want to cook at home more to save money?
Then you need this book!
I remember when I was in college and I cooked for myself and my boyfriend in his tiny apartment. I was so excited to finally have a kitchen of my own, but I found myself making huge quantities of food that would end up going to waste because we got so sick of eating leftovers. I got so frustrated because I felt like I was wasting money, being on a college kid's budget.
And so I wrote a cookbook! I took 30 of my favorite recipes (enough for a whole month!) and re-portioned them so they would make exactly enough for 1-2 people, with little to no leftovers! Or they would make a decent sized batch that could be thrown in the freezer and easily reheated, but not so much that you had gallons of it!
Now, I'm cooking for 4 (my fiance and stepsons) but since we only have the boys every other week, I still pull out this cookbook to cook from when it's just me and my fiance, who will not eat leftovers so if I make too much food, I get stuck with it for lunch for a week. No bueno. So this book is still perfect for me!
And it's perfect for anyone who is cooking for only 1-2 people:
-college students
-grad students
-young professionals
-kid-free couples
-empty nesters
-seniors who would rather spend time playing bingo than cooking!
-and many other groups of people!
