En el presente libro intento que nos sumerjamos en un universo de emociones entrecruzadas por lo "crudo" a veces, o por lo auténtico en otras. Las historias que aquí se presentan, no tienen ni más ni menos que la pretensión de explorar las complejidades del drama humano. Tal como siempre he intentado con mi teatro. Aún si se trata de la puesta en escena o en el texto. En la primera de las tres piezas, "La pared", nos adentramos en una atmósfera que de puede resultarnos inquietante, donde los susurros de una discusión acalorada nos hace cuestionar los límites de lo posible entre lo real y lo imaginado en la vida cotidiana. Puede parecer hosco pero la pieza persigue (de algún modo) que nos confrontemos con lo que significa en la vida de las personas cuando experimentan situaciones de mucha agresividad y violencia. ¿Es posible transar en nuestras vidas con este tipo de situaciones que pueden surgir en las relaciones humanas? "Detrás de la granja" nos lleva, por un rumbo relativamente distinto pero no menos comprometido y complicado. En este caso estamos ante un escenario tenso y lleno de intrigas, en el que dos hermanos enfrentan un dilema que pone a prueba sus lazos familiares, sus modos de vida y de pensamiento, sus "cuotas de responsabilidad" ante hecho de magnitud compleja. Sitiados en lo que puede ser una simple casa o tal vez un bunker y en medio de una guerra civil que resulta implacable exploramos la metáforas de la violencia militar. Finalmente, el tríptico "Pequeños incidentes en la vida de los niños" nos muestra desde la mirada inocente y vulnerable de un niño en un mundo marcado por la opresión y la violencia, y en el que él mismo queda atrapado. A través de estas historias, quisiera invitarlos a reflexionar sobre los modos de accionar y las responsabilidades que adoptamos cuando estamos ante la crueldad y las injusticias. Se trata de ver a través del cristal de un niño cuáles son los conflictos (emocionales o de otra índole) que pueden aflorar a quien se les enfrenta, afrontando ese extremo de la soga. En el conjunto cada una de estas piezas teatrales es como un espejo que nos muestra aspectos oscuros y profundos de la condición humana. Los textos nos desafían a enfrentar nuestros propios conflictos internos, nuestras luchas y dilemas personales, mientras nos sumerge en una experiencia teatral que pretende ser enriquecedora y provocadora para el lector o puestista. A veces el texto nos conmueve en otras ocasiones nos vemos confrontado ante él, a veces también nos hiere. Esto pretende que podamos vivificarnos en mundos llenos de "otros" significados, de simbolismos, de cambios, que parecen alejados de nosotros mismos, pero que más de lo que creemos (muchas veces) forma parte de rutinas de la vida diaria. Se trata pues de pensar sobre como es posible consrtruir un modo de vida que supere el signo que abruma estos personajes.
