Cleverly weaved into these stories are pages from military manuals of the correct era. Its purpose to better educated the reader to the stories that are told. These are the featured stories.

  • MISSION 2 1967 - Ron Winkles Crew Chief/Gunner writes about Jerry Shriver locating a horde of NVA intel near the Duc Lap area. He was going back in for a second time probing deeper. It would not take long for Shriver to realize the NVA was in tracking him and his team. Shriver made that call and CPT Judah and his crew from the 20th SOS Green Hornets were on their way. Ron Winkles was part CPT Judah's crew and tells his side of the story, and Shriver's very thankful gesture at being extracted.
