Il ruolo dell'industria e dei suoi massimi dirigenti negli anni immediatamente precedenti il secondo conflitto mondiale e nei primi tre anni di guerra fu determinante per l'esito finale del conflitto. Un periodo contrassegnato da un riarmo generalizzato, da ricerche scientifiche di primaria importanza, finalizzate alla realizzazione di radiolocalizzatori (poi chiamati radar), da studi, sperimentazioni e collaudi di calcolatori meccanici ed elettronici, da una fitta serie di innovazioni tecnologiche alle quali scienziati e specialisti italiani non erano estranei, anzi. Un'analisi storica corretta, rispondente ai canoni ortodossi della obiettività sulle cause della disfatta italiana e sulle sue tragiche conseguenze, non può prescindere dall'approfondimento del ruolo ricoperto dalle fabbriche. E' quanto ha fatto l'autore in questo saggio rispolverando meriti e soprattutto "demeriti" e "sabotaggi" del nostro apparato industriale.

In Somalia con il 25 Gruppo navale e United Shield al servizio dell'ONU, sempre nel Paese africano, sono state raccontate non solo nei notiziari del Giornale Radio della RAI, ma anche in due reportages filmati realizzati per lo Stato Maggiore della Marina, come pure "Sentinelle in Adriatico", il blocco navale voluto dall'ONU contro i Paesi della ex Jugoslavia, documentario vincitore del Primo Premio categoria informazione nella rassegna internazionale "Eserciti e popoli"1995, e ''Una Costa da proteggere", filmato dedicato all'attività della Marina Militare e della Guardia Costiera nel contrasto all'immigrazione clandestina e ai traffici illeciti tra i Balcani e le coste pugliesi. Tra le inchieste condotte per il GR: la vicenda della "Uno Bianca", la "mafia cinese", i retroscena dello smaltimento dei rifiuti tossici, le organizzazioni criminali in Puglia e i collegamenti con Albania e Montenegro, l'oro degli ebrei razziato dai nazisti e il ruolo delle banche della Confederazione Elvetica.
