Mit den "100 Regeln des Krieges" setzt der Angkor Verlag seine Reihe mit Titeln zum Weg des Samurai fort. Lesen Sie die Ratschlage der folgenden vier Tsukahara Bokuden (1489-1571) entwickelte das Kashima Shinto-ryu, benannt nach dem Shinto-Schrein, in dem sein Vater Priester war. Bokuden ist der Priestername Tsukaharas, er “der sieht und ubertragt“. Er soll uber zweihundert Krieger besiegt und den jungen Ashikaga-Shogun Yoeru im Schwertkampf ausgebildet haben. Die liedahnlich angelegten ”100 Regeln des Krieges“ verfte er wohl kurz vor seinem Tod. Ito Ittosai Kagehisa (1560-1653) soll in 33 Schwertduellen unbesiegt geblieben sein und begrundete die Itto-ryu, die neben der Yagyu Shinkage-ryu (Yagyu [Munenoris] Schule des Neuen Schattens) offiziell vom Tokugawa-Shogun anerkannt war. Man spricht auch von der “Schule des Einen Schwerthiebes“. Wir veroffentlichen seine 12 Hauptregeln. Natori Sanjuro Masatakes Lebensdaten sind nicht genau bekannt, er starb wohl zu Beginn des 18. Jahrhunderts. Natori war ein Samurai des Kii-Zweiges des Tokugawa-Clans, sein Vater hatte einen hohen Posten unter Tokugawa Yorinubu inne. Natori stieg allmahlich in den Rang eines Samuraialtesten (ogaban) auf. Er begrundete den Kampfkunststil Kishu-ryu. Wir legen Auszuge aus seiner Schriftrolle "Ippei Yoko" vor. Yamamoto Kansuke (1501-1561) wurde als Yamamoto Haruyuki in der Provinz Mikawa geboren. Er soll bei einer Audienz den Kriegsfursten Takeda Shingen (1521-1573) so beeindruckt haben, d dieser ihm ein großes Lehen anvertraute, ihn immer wieder als Ratgeber zu sich einlud und am Bau mehrerer Burgen beteiligte. Nachdem sich Yamamoto bei den Kriegen in der Provinz Shinano ausgezeichnet hatte, wurde ihm der Titel “Kansuke“ verliehen. Seine Schrift "Heiho Hidensho" bzw. "Heiho Okugisho" gilt als Kliker der Militarstrategie.
