Zurelys Lopez AmayaZurelys López Amaya (La Habana, 1967). Poet, writer of fiction, and journalist. López Amaya is a graduate of the University of Havana in Communications. Her work has been published both on the island and off; her poems, interviews and literary review have been included in diverse national and international journals and magazines. Among her published works are the poetry collections: Pactos con la sombra (Unicornio Press, 2009) and Rebaños (Extramuros Press, 2010) --both also reedited by Atom Press in Florida in 2010; Minísculos espejos (Latin Heritage Foundation, Washington D.C., 2011); La señora solitaria (Unión, 2013); Lanzar la Piedra, with Spanish writer Verónica Aranda (Corazón de Mango, Colombia, 2015); Levitaciones (Matanzas, Havana, 2015); and La vela y el náufrago (Editorial Polibea, Spain, 2016).
