Zuhdi JasserM. Zuhdi Jasser, M.D., is the son of Syrian political refugees from 1966. Raised in the Midwest, a devout American Muslim, Dr. Jasser is a physician, a former U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander, and President and founder of the American Islamic Forum forDemocracy (AIFD). AIFD is a Phoenix based counter-Islamism think tank founded in the wake of 9-11. In 2015, he also co-founded the Muslim Reform Movement (MRM).
