Yvonne Dean AndersonYvonne Dean Anderson is the fourth child in a family of five. Yvonne, interestingly, is the only name she knew until a fire caused her to request her birth certificate. That is when she discovered the name on her birth certificate was DEBRA. Yvonne wote her first song at the age of eight and from that moment, she knew writing was one of greatest things she wanted to do. Yvonne remembers not only writing sentences for her second-grade spelling words but pondering how she could write better sentences. She would challenge herself to use words that created pictures, and suddenly her imagination was awakened. She began to crave words that formed poems, songs, stage plays, movies and books. At 16, Yvonne became a young wife and eight years later found herself a single mom. Unstoppable, she became the Founder and Coordinator of The Drug Free Youth Movement and received an Accommodation from Mayor Bill Campbell of Atlanta for the work the movement undertook with youth. Yvonne has been an educator of elementary through high school and an Administrator at The Metroplex Theatre in Atlanta. Her love for the art of creation is eminence. Writing, drawing and creating a space to perform, write books and stage plays is where her heart finds the most joy. Having had the AWESOME experience of worshipping with diverse intelligence, Yvonne says her desire to know The Will of The Most High and do it is her goal. Now living in California, she has the opportunity to mentor sisters of all nationalities and spiritual beliefs. She is remarried to her bestie, the love of her life and her knock-around, Konanyah BN.
