Yuji KaidaYuji Kaida is a Japanese illustrator who was born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1953. Having been fascinated by monster and special effects films as a child, he was actively involved in doujinshi (fan publication) while still in art college in Kyoto. After raduating, he became a professional illustrator and worked on numerous high-profile properties, including Godzilla, Macross, Gundam, Patlabor and Tomy's Zoids.
