Yanpei HuangYanpei Huang is a post-doctoral researcher in the Human Robotics Group, at the Department of Bioengineering, Imperial College London, U.K. She has been working on developing human-machine interfaces for robotic surgery from 2016. She completed PhD stdy at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, with a focus on development of multiple degrees-of-freedom foot interface for robotic surgery. She has also successfully developed a robotic teleoperation system enabling one surgeon to control three surgical tools simultaneously for endoscopic surgery. Her current research is on exploring optimal human-robot interaction strategies to compensate or augment human's capabilities and amplify strengths of both human and robot to promote human healthcare.
