Yang HanYang Han has been a Professor at the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), China, since 2021, where he was previously Associate Professor (2013-2020). From March 2014 o March 2015, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Denmark. He holds more than 40 issued and pending patents.His research interests include AC/DC microgrids, active distribution networks, power quality, grid-connected converters for renewable energy systems, active power filters, multilevel converters, and static synchronous compensators (STATCOMs). Prof. Han was listed as a "World Top 2% Scientist 2020" by Stanford University in 2020 and received the Baekhyun Award from the Korean Institute of Power Electronics in 2016.
