Wulf UtianWulf H. Utian MD, PhD, DSc, FRCOG, FACOG, FICS, is a physician reproductive endocrinologist, and world-renowned researcher, author, and lecturer on menopause & infertility. An early pioneer of in vitro fertilization, he started the world's first menoause research center. Among numerous international awards, he was honored by Good Housekeeping as one of America's best physicians in women's health, by Ladies Home Journal as one of the top ten researchers in women's health, by the FDA with an FDA Citation for the collective outstanding performance of the 'Menopause and Hormones Information Campaign', and most recently in Canada with the first SIGMA/Canadian Menopause Society Menopause Trail Blazer Award. He is Professor Emeritus of Reproductive Biology, Case Western Reserve University, Consultant in Women's Health at the Cleveland Clinic, and Chairman of the Advisory Board of Rapid Medical Research. Previously, he was Director of OB/GYN at University Hospitals of Cleveland. He founded the International Menopause Society, and the North American Menopause Society. In 2015 he returned to NAMS as Interim Executive Director to assist in the reorganization of the Society, and transition of leadership. He was Medical Editor of Maturitas, Founding Editor of Menopause (1994-2010), and Editor of Menopause Management.
