William S AndersonWilliam S. Anderson is professor emeritus of classics at the University of California, Berkeley. He taught classics and comparative literature at Berkeley, the American Academy in Rome, the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies in Rome, and Yae University. He also served as Blegen Research Professor at Vassar College, First Robson Lecturer at Victoria College (Toronto), and research fellow at the University of Melbourne.
