William Neil MartinWilliam Neil Martin was born on March 16, 1943, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and grew up sixty miles south, in Gulfport. In 1960 he moved with his family to Southern California, and that would be his home for the next forty years. After graduation frm high school he spent two years on active duty in the Naval Reserve, followed by college, a brief stint in law school then graduate school, where he received two masters degrees. Following a thirty-year career in the criminal justice field, Mr. Martin retired and he and his wife, Marie, moved to Blue Springs, Missouri. Today he spends his time writing, traveling and reading.
