He lived in the streets and learned the rules and unspoken laws of the darker side of the community where h became addicted to cocaine and witnessed the injustices of this land personally. He has been arrested many times and has lived behind the razor wire of prison twice. During that time he owned up to his mistakes, claimed his sobriety and found his God given talents and picked up a pen. These poems were written during the last 15 years during moments in his life where he felt love, heartbreak, anger and hate. He has grown since those times.
